Process and FAQ for the “MLS Only” Listing Service

  1. After deciding that using “MLS Only” Listing Service from Green Mountain Real Estate will help you sell your property please select the tab “Shop for Services” and add the “MLS Only” Listing Services by clicking on the “Add to Cart” button.
  2. Choose the optional services desired (E-Docs, Yard Sign, Internet Marketing, etc.) by clicking on the “Add to Cart” button.
  3. Proceed to Google Checkout by clicking on the ”Checkout Button”.
  4. After completing your purchase please send an e-mail to info@vt-mls.net to confirm your purchase of the “MLS Only” Listing Service and selected options.
  5. Upon receipt of your confirmation e-mail an account will be created for you so you can connect to the “Documents” tab. Once you receive your log in credentials you may retrieve your transaction forms required for the sale of your property. These forms are specific to your transaction as the forms are different for various types of property. (Condo, Single Family Home, Commercial, Land, etc.) Please contact us if your transaction requires other forms, however you may also use the US Legal Forms also by selecting the US Legal Forms icon at the bottom of the “Documents” page.
  6. Follow the instructions included with your forms package and once you have provided the information required, please e-mail your completed forms to our e-mail address.
  7. Your property will be entered into the NNREN MLS system within 24 hours and an e-mail notification will be e-mailed to the contact address you provide.
  8. Respond to the inquiries you recieve from agents and accept the best offer for your property!

Questions

  1. What is the length of the “MLS Only” Listing Agreement?  Our agreements are for 6 months.
  2. Can I extend my agreement beyond 6 months? Yes, however a listing can not be longer than 12 months according to MLS system regulations.
  3. If I sell my property as a result of my own marketing efforts do I owe a commission? No, you only pay a commission to the agency/agent who provides a qualified buyer that makes an offer that you accept.
